The Bell Media team creates and delivers the best Canadian and international content across our digital media, television, radio, and out-of-home advertising platforms. We’re looking for innovative team players ready to take some of the most well-known entertainment brands in the country to the next level.


Subscriber distribution is widely regarded one of the most critical areas of today’s media industry. This role will drive Media’s linear, OTT and Direct to Consumer content distribution, and will lead the team focused on driving on driving subscription revenue for Bell Media assets including Crave, TSN and RDS across all existing and emerging platforms.

  • Lead the team responsible for Bell Media’s subscriber revenue portfolio across all brands in English and French including subscriber acquisition and retention for streaming service Crave as well as cable, satellite and IPTV distribution
  • Work with internal stakeholders including Content, Finance and Sales to support the development of Bell Media’s long term subscriber and content distribution strategy
  • Negotiate wholesale agreement for Bell Media channels with distributors including BDU’s
  • Develop and manage distribution partnerships and promotions for direct to consumer products including Crave
  • Lead the Bell Media Analytics and Business Intelligence team , responsible for delivering strategic insights and advanced analytics to support internal stakeholders including programming, sales, product and marketing
  • Work with internal teams including IT and Digital Product on the development of data infrastructure to support strategic insights

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Commerce or Marketing
  • 10+ years’ experience in a leadership role within Media or Telecom Industry
  • Demonstrated experience in the direct to consumer space an asset
  • Demonstrated experience with BDU, Subscriber or Programming Negotiations would be considered an asset
  • Outstanding ability to build and nurture relationships and communicate complex issues/challenges up, across and down the organization
  • Experience leading both large and multi-department teams with the ability to influence high performing teams and advocate at the senior leadership table
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive a unified strategy/ vision
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with aggressive deadlines
  • Reflect a high degree of professionalism, uncompromising integrity and business ethics
  • Being bilingual is an asset
