Vehicle Handler - Saint John, New Brunswick

We are a short line railway offering complete logistic and transportation solutions.
Responsibilities:
  • Accurate Inspection paperwork and documentation
  • Safe & efficient operation of automobiles
  • Unloading new vehicles from rail cars
  • Staging of vehicles in auto compound
  • Manual labor required and heavy lifting of bridge plates
  • General upkeep of equipment and yard
  • Duties can include working in the DC, Lumber Reload, Intermodel and Auto Terminal as required

Education Requirements/Knowledge & Skills:
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
  • Must be flexible for shift work (includes weekends/ nights/etc.)
  • Experience operating machinery considered asset.
  • Previous experience with working at heights and fall arrest.
  • Possess a commitment to customer service, productivity, teamwork and safety
