WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Talent Acquisition Specialist (or Sr. Specialist) will support the complete life cycle of BCG Canada’s recruiting efforts. This includes event planning and execution, marketing and branding related activities, planning and participating in the interview process, candidate communication and relationship building, and all conversion activities for both full time and internship hiring.
YOU’RE GOOD AT
Help develop strategic plans for assigned candidate pools; cultivate relationships with candidates while developing BCG presence and positive experiences; and cultivate relationships with campus career services developing BCG’s brand on campus- Collect and analyze information and data to evaluate the effectiveness of recruiting efforts, providing valuable input aimed at continuously improving our recruiting efforts; monitor and analyze the competitive environment
- Manage logistics (planning, correspondence, execution) of the recruiting process from marketing and events planning, through screening, interviewing and conversion, including conversion events and the summer intern program
- Drive conversion activities for offerees
- Use BCG tools to manage data and generate correspondence, reports, interview and event invitations
- Lead and execute strategic projects as needed
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Education and experience:
Bachelor’s degree required
1-3 years of recruiting, HR, or relevant experience required preferably in a professional services environment
Functional and soft skills:
High customer service and relationship orientation - strong interpersonal and communication skills, highly responsive, want to deliver great results at all times, able to develop effective working relationships with colleagues across the organization and candidates
Excellent time and project management skills. You have clear systems and composure to deal with multiple tasks at once, with a great attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when under pressure.
Organizational skills to assist with all the behind-the-scenes magic while providing creative solutions, driving our high-level customer service, and positively impacting our recruiting efforts.
A strong intellectual curiosity. You’re a creative thinker, interested in the bigger picture, always looking to solve problems.
Self-motivated and trustworthy. You take initiative and are able to work independently, exercising judgment in managing confidential/sensitive information
Ability to work overtime during peak recruiting periods
Technical skills:
Strong computer and database skills: Outlook, Word, Excel (preferred), and PowerPoint
Bilingualism (English & French) an asset

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This role is a 12-month Contract- Candidates will be evaluated at the Specialist or Senior Specialist level based on experience.
