Job: Supply Chain Planner Specialist -Food /CPG

Location: Oakville - Mississauga, ON .. work from Oakville, office

Salary: 55k-65K , + bonus ; benefits full time permanent

Our client is a leading Food Beverage Consumer Goods organisation with multiple manufacturing sites globally and several Distribution Centres in Canada. They have a job open for Supply Chain Planner Specialist Inventory Planner -to ensure right inventory of finished product is available at all the distribution centers and customer sites. You will also liaison with carriers and logistics partners. Thejob is based in Oakville, ON area and will be based in office from September, in compliance with the provincial COVID protocol .

Supply Chain Planner Specialist / Inventory Planner will conduct daily inventory reports at each site, ensure minimum order quantities are met, adjust min max levels to existing demand, work closely with operations to ensure product availability. You will release POs to the manufacturing sites, ensure product availability and work with carriers and freight forwarders to ensure quick shipments at the right place in the right quantities. You will work off the Demand forecast provided, calculate shortages and issue POs. You will be responsible for movement of goods between DCs set up Min max levels at each site, replenish. You will liaison with the suppliers, and internal partners to ensure supply. You will run Continuous improve initiatives to optimize logistics costs, warehouse space and run initiatives like Kanban / Kaizen for process improvement.

Supply Chain Planner Specialist / Inventory Planner will have close to 5-8 years’ experience in Supply Chain Planning as Inventory Planner / Replenishment Analyst; have above average Excel skills; ability to enter billing and invoice details in the system , liaison with carriers ; Replenishment and Inventory planning at multiple sites is a MUST , Supply Chain operations and good communication skills are a MUST ; degree is preferred; Post Graduate diploma, Power BI, courses in Supply Chain from recognized colleges is highly preferred ; good analytical skills, attention to detail
