Your love of translating style into your work – bringing elements together to create solutions that are fresh, innovative and highly creative.

As a Stylist/Coordinator, you are able to translate direction from briefs into multi-looks that are on brand and on strategy. You bring forth creative solutions on how best to represent the client’s brand in visually fresh and engaging ways. With a keen eye for detail, you have a vision on how to bring products to life through styling, propping and designing lifestyle room sets.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate the ability to think creatively and an insatiable appetite for continuous improvement
  • Clearly articulate creative expectations, art directions and standards to the client and photo team
  • Collaborate with the Senior Producer/Project Manager and Photographers/Videographers as well as the client’s business teams: senior management, brand, marketing, merchandising and product managers, etc.
  • Organize and maintain prop inventory
  • Adhere to schedules and/or work-back summaries with milestones identified
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism while juggling multiple deadlines, in a fast-paced creative and production environment
  • Advises clients on dynamic styling for visuals
  • Orders clothing, fabrics, accessories, props and more to facilitate a wardrobe
  • Coordinates the apparel and outfits designed for a photo shoot or event
  • Travels in order to find specific props, purchases and organizes necessary props and accessories
  • Keeps track of current, developing, and changing regional and global trends in fashion and design
  • Adapts to the client’s own interests in colour, style, and shape
  • Coordinates shooting locations
  • Facilitates any delivery of a design or product
  • Develops new factors and objectives in accordance with market trends

Education & Qualifications:

  • 4 to 6+ years experience working in a styling role; 2 to 3 years of related industry-related experience in propping for still photo, video or broadcast
  • Post-secondary education: graduate of a recognized degree or a Bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising, styling, designing
    program
  • Prior on-set experience with photographers, video editors and crew members, styling and propping
  • Professional interpersonal and communication
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, efficient, organized and quality-focused
  • Superior time-management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work according to deadlines
  • Willingness to see projects through to the end and able to work longer days or weekends when required
  • Ability to identify problems and suggest potential solutions
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to solve workload issues and project needs
