Audette is creating carbon reduction plans for every existing building on the planet. We apply building science and machine learning to model the most important features that contribute to carbon emissions. Our platform turns data into retrofit strategies for commercial real estate’s zero-carbon future.

You’ll play a pivotal role in building our next generation SaaS platform that will deliver ground-breaking carbon intelligence to the entire planet. You will be empowered to use your creativity to develop features quickly and iteratively while working with a variety of projects and teams. This role is best suited for a generalist who is unattached to a particular language, platform, or tool, and is comfortable working in all aspects of technology stacks and enterprise systems.

This role reports to the Director of Technology and the scope includes:

- Design and develop novel solutions to generate actionable insights into a building.
- Rapidly prototype and deploy features and tools to see what adds value for both internal and external customers.
- Communicate, using empathy, with your peers across business units.
- Work collaboratively with a small team of experienced Software Engineers and Data Professionals to rapidly delivery customer and business value

About You:

- Understanding of computer-science fundamentals and how to use this knowledge to implement systems.
- Commitment to iterative development and consistent delivery of features.
- Familiarity with modern software architectural principles and patterns (TDD, BDD, DDD, event-driven, microservices, etc.).
- Self-reliant in problem solving with the determination to pursue each problem until a solution is found.
- Some exposure to cloud architecture, IOC, CI/CD, automated testing, and related tools.
- Recent experience with React/Redux/Typescript frontend, a Python/Ruby backend, and Google Cloud Platform are nice pluses.
