TalentWorld is recruiting for aSenior Engineer, Manufacturing and Distribution for one of our clients in Brampton, ON!This position offers a competitive salary and the ability to creatively collaborate with various teams!

Our client is an established global distributor that has been in the retail market for over 100 years distributing over 20 high quality apparel and footwear brands. They are looking to add a Senior Engineer to their team in the Brampton location. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative outlook and experience in Project Management!

Senior Engineer Responsibilities:

• Build and drive greater collaboration between Operation, IT & Finance
• Experience in logistics, specifically in a distribution/fulfillment centre operation
• Lead and support the development of best-in-class operating solutions that include all operational elements including design of operation flow, selection of technology and equipment and facility layout design
• Determined the implementation plan and ensured that it is set up according to the rules established
• Lead and deliver successful process implementations
• Analyze existing operations and provide improvement recommendations
• Perform cost/benefit trade-off analysis and develop ROI business cases for recommended projects involving process, system or advanced technology changes
• Providing assistance to operation in data gathering
• Ability to effectively manage and implement change in a team-based culture
• Effective communicator on opportunities for improvement and identified risks
• Perform special research or technical studies critical to logistics support functions

Senior Engineer Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering required or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse environment
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and AutoCAD
• Knowledge and experience with warehouse management systems, lean methodologies,
• Green / Black Belt & PMP designation is a bonus
• Ability to Travel within Canada and US
• Ability to work onsite

Employment Conditions:

• Salary $150,000 plus Bonus
• Fulltime and Permanent
• Location: Brampton
