What about the day-to-day activities of the position?

  • Contribute to the definition, planning, organization and execution of application monitoring and disaster recovery activities across Wealth Management IT
  • Leverage a deep understanding of how the systems work to isolate source of a bug or incident to particular system or application
  • Have a direct impact on the customer experience
  • Resolve escalated, complex or sensitive inquiries from both internal and external clients and ensure they are satisfied with the solutions and quality of service offered
  • Act as a liaison between our delivery squads and operations teams, effectively communicating in both business and technical terms
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness, and operational efficiency of the team to enhance overall client experience
  • Provide after hours and occasional weekend support for changes/releases, when required.


Specific requirements:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree or University certificate / undergraduate with 3-5 years’ experience in an application support role
  • You have deep knowledge and experience with SQL scripts, DataDog, Splunk
  • You have supported and worked with Windows OS, Unix and Linux
  • You have experience with IBM OSS/ISM, CRM2, AS400, Croesus
  • You have demonstrated a strong track record with agile and DevOps delivery resulting in high velocity, high quality delivery
  • You have previous experience in an application support team, with a focus on monitoring and responding to application reliability, security, and performance KPIs
  • You like to share new ideas, collaborate, and learn from others
  • You have an innate technological curiosity, and you adore innovation
  • You can work with partners in vendor organizations to get to the best outcome
  • You can succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • You speak and write in English.

Knowledge considered an asset:

  • Knowledge of AWS cloud environments
  • Prior experience in the Banking or Wealth Management industry
