Security Front Desk Concierge position - Toronto

We are accepting resumes for the position of Concierge/Front Desk personnel for Downtown Toronto. These positions are high profile Concierge and Front Desk positions in the Commercial sector, meant for security personnel with exceptional and natural customer service culture.

Pay rate: $25 to $27 / hour

Key Attributes/Skills:

• 5+ years of Security experience in Commercial tower
• 2+ years of experience in customer service or any leadership role
• Must have a valid security guard license and 1st Aid / CPR
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
• Friendly, Welcoming service to the visiting public/tenants seeking direction, information or assistance
• Eye contact and open demeanor at all times
• Dress and deportment that impresses
• Clean, Organized Desk and Work Area
• Security-minded with keen observation and detailed reporting skills
• ’Remarkable’ Telephone Service
• Makes people feel welcome - the kind of person whose mere presence reduces others’ stress
• Conflict Resolution and Diffusion skills
• Knows the complex inside and out and is familiar with area attractions, food and beverage service, and Points of Interest
• ’Remarkable’ Service Culture that goes beyond basic training modules

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

• Front Desk presence and helpfulness
• Greeting and welcoming any person entering the building
• Frequent liaison with tenants, contractors and property management personnel
• Frequent Supervisor and Guard Contact
• Emergency Incident Coordination
• Contractor/Visitor Coordination
• Reports conflict or escalating situations
• Maintains a rapport with Emergency Services and Building Personnel
• Management and maintenance of Security Systems

Training and Education:

• Management or Supervisor training
• Crisis Intervention and Effective Communications training
• Ontario Emergency Management online courses
• H&S Online, AODA, WHMIS, Workplace Harassment, Smoke-Free ON completed
• Diversity and Human Rights training
