So, what’ll you be doing?

Firstly, the Scheduler is a position that will enable you to deliver market leading projects. That means you’ll create, maintain, and track the project schedule for all of Pinnacle’s Major Capital projects and support the project engineers/managers with procurement activities. You will develop and maintain a detailed scheduled for project planning. You will be responsible for driving the company’s core values through all aspects of project planning and execution.

Acting as a central point of contact this is a varied role where you’ll creates and maintain master schedules for all Strategic Capital activities to assist in managing resource loading across the Pinnacle team. You will establish relationships with vendors and stakeholders, understanding project needs and clearly communicating schedule and budget limitations to stakeholders outside the project team.

You will ensure seamless and proactive communication so that Project Managers are aware of impacts to project timescales, critical paths, and budget risks. You will professionally challenge cost, inefficiency and poor practice with oversight and reporting against budgets and schedules but no direct budget responsibility.

You’ll also work with teams across the business, not just capital projects, to ensure that projects are delivered successfully. You’ll provide expert guidance and advice to ensure that projects schedules are realistic, undertake program analysis and work with commercial teams on tendering for contracts, ensuring that planning and programming aspects are included.

So, what are we looking for?

You’ll need to be a confident scheduler, with 7 years of experience, programming, scheduling, and delivering large scale, complex engineering, or construction projects. You should have relevant industry experience, with a post-secondary education in planning. A PMP designation would be preferred.

You’ll be able to see the bigger picture and look at things in a critical way to challenge program assumptions, so that we can deliver programs successfully. This’ll be coupled with experience in managing and working with contractors.
