The Role: Own responsibilities for Xylem support for assigned customers. Support customer requirements and coordinate solutions either independently or with internal Xylem team. Correspond with Customer Service to ensure accuracy of BTO orders and Sales Support. Request for Quotation review and manage Quotations, both accuracy and timeliness. Liaise with Sales to review requests for discounts and facilitate discussions with upper management, according to DOA. Assist Territory and Regional Managers with pipeline management.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

  • Support customer requirements and coordinate solutions to customer queries
  • Answer software inquiries relating to product selection and updates
  • Prepare special submittal drawings for approval
  • Process Quotations according to management guidelines
  • Communicate regarding Quotation requests with the respective Territory Managers
  • Assist Territory Managers and Market Development Managers to create and execute account plan to achieve targeted sales and margin levels. Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities

Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

  • Minimum two year college diploma
  • 5 years’ experience in similar position and environment
  • Excellent computer skills, including, but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to demonstrate courtesy and tact when dealing with customers and co-workers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • General technical knowledge of pump types, motors, variable speed drives and heat exchangers.
  • Knowledgeable on applications including fluid flow in open and closed systems.
