RESPITE SECURITY PROTECTION SPECIALIST

The Position:

We are looking for full-time and casual licensed specialist security guards with security experience that are looking to join a growing industry with competitive wages ranging between $18-22 an hour. Respite Security Protection Specialists are highly visible with professional knowledge of security protocols and the ability to react in multiple scenarios. Respite specialist possess a high level of customer service and the ability to create a presence that builds a safe and welcoming environment for all service users, employees, and visitors.

• Use of Force, Handcuff and Baton training included
• 12-hour rotational shifts to better develop a work/life balance
• Flexible working hours for a second job

Qualifications:

• Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
• 2 years of hospitality and customer service experience preferred
• Strong tactical awareness and de-escalation experience
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Ability to work in high stress environment
• Ability to make quick and informed decisions
• Must possess an Ontario Security Guard License
• First Aid, CPR and AED certification
• Experience in events, specialised and customer service security
• Law enforcement education is considered an asset
