Whiteout Group Inc. is looking for 1 Full-Time energetic, dedicated team players with general labour experience in the construction industry, who are hardworking, take pride in their work, and have knowledge of industry safety standards and procedures. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: cleaning and preparing construction sites, unloading and loading materials, tending to machines, evenly distributing asphalt, concrete, or other materials and working as a team player with other to execute tasks as assigned.

Job Duties

· Follow instructions from supervisors to perform various tasks

· Work with team members to ensure all tasks are completed

· Must be able to work in extreme temperatures (outdoor extreme heat and cold)

· Ability to perform manual labour (i.e.: dig, rake, shovel, wheel barrel for extensive periods of time)

· Prepare and clean construction sites (i.e.: setting up barricades, cones, markers to control traffic patterns, picking up garbage, etc.)

· Operate, maintain and clean small power and hand tools

· Can work in a fast-paced professional environment and adapt to situations as they arise

· Must be able to meet multiple deadlines with minimal or no supervision.

· Can effectively communicate verbally and work as part of a team
Job Qualifications
Required:

· Must be punctual and available Monday to Friday with some evenings and / or weekends.

· High school diploma/GED preferred

· 1 Years work experience within the construction industry an asset

· Team player, reliable and organized

· Ability to stand and walk for and extensive period of time (8 hours/ day)

· Physically able to lift heavy loads repetitively (50 lbs.), repetitive bending and kneeling.

· Must be able to transport themselves to and from the shop and possess a Manitoba driver’s license

· Flexible enough to work some weekend and evening shifts

· Professional attitude with strong attention to detail

· Personal safety equipment’s are required (e.g., Gloves, CSA approved Steel toe boots and Hard hat)

Asset:

· Knowledge of equipment operations and carpentry is an added plus

Expected start date: 2021-09-20

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
