Job Description


Job Purpose:

The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for sourcing, attracting and selecting the best possible talent to join the Canada Goose team. Own the full-cycle recruitment activities at Canada Goose aimed to assess candidates against the requirements of the opportunity available.

The Recruiter will also provide HR administrative support for the Canada Goose teams in various areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the recruitment for assigned vacancies in a timely and quality
  • Develop and maintain a network of job posting opportunities specific to Canada Goose client groups
  • Screen and interview candidates to assess job suitability and cultural fit
  • Represent Canada Goose at job fairs, recruiting events and open houses
  • Develop and leverage direct sourcing tools to recruit talent for current vacancies and candidate pipelines
  • Conduct onboarding of new employees including the collection of required documents, facilitating introductions in the organization and acting as a resource through the employees time at CG
  • Complete required references and background checks
  • Ensure HRIS data and Leadtec software is up to date and accurate; recommend process improvements for the systems
  • Provide new operations employees with a comprehensive onboarding program to enable a smooth transition into CG
  • Track and administer referral bonus program and assist in the composition and distribution of reward statements
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of appropriate documentation throughout employment history for all employees
  • Support/lead and implement various HR projects and initiatives, help the HR Business Partner with various ongoing projects
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications


Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

  • Ability to prioritize, multi task, operate proactively, work as a team and handle challenges
  • Ability to evaluate options and generate solutions
  • Must be familiar with computers and business software such as MS Office and skilled in Excel
  • Consistently exhibits Canada Goose’s Values, taking pride in being innovative, respectful, passionate, accountable, and entrepreneurial while exhibiting personal commitment

Experience, Education and Designations:

  • A post-secondary education in Business or Human Resources
  • 2+ years human resources experience
