We’re Val Mart Door Sales and we design, build, and install specialty industrial doors throughout south-western British Columbia. For over 40 years, we’ve built everything from airport hangar doors to large truck doors for warehouses.

We are growing and we’re looking for an excellent multi-tasker who loves talking with people to join our team.

Receptionist/Data Entry

This job will have excellent potential for future growth.

The role involves typical reception duties, while assisting the dispatcher and other staff where required, eventually we would like to see you evolve in the company through on the job training into our team of dispatchers.

This job starts between $21.00 - $22.00 per hour.

You’ll love this job if you like plenty of interaction with other people and if you find the day flies by when you have lots of exciting responsibilities. You don’t need experience in the industry to be successful here. Your biggest assets are a bright, cheerful attitude that makes people feel great, and being able to prioritize a wide range of tasks. The rest of the job we can teach you.

You’ll be working closely with our dispatcher, technical specialist, sales team, the CEO and our office manager.

The Specifics

This full-time job works out of our office shop in Surrey, Monday to Friday, from 7:15 to 4:30. We pay a competitive wage that grows as you do, and we have a great medical and dental plan.

Here are some things that will help but aren’t required:

• Experience in a job where you spent a lot of time on the phone
• Experience in a job where you kept track of a lot of paperwork
• Experience in dispatching
• Experience in overhead doors
