The following description is a summary of the role to be undertaken by the Quality Assurance Material Coordinator. It is not intended to cover all facets of the role or limit requirements.

Role Responsibilities Include
  • Assuring material being incorporated into the project are approved, sampled and tested to meet applicable specifications and Material Acceptance Request (MAR) process;
  • Providing evaluation of material documentation prior to incorporation into the project work when required as per the purchase agreement (PA);
  • Recording the evaluation in the Material Acceptance Request (MAR) form in the Quality section while being assisted by a staff of QC Field Inspectors and a Document Clerk.
  • Evaluating materials including: Concrete mix designs, Paving materials, Structural and architectural metals, Non-metallic, ceramic and cementitious, materials, Soils and aggregates and other Building materials;
  • Coordinating with Quality Assurance (QA) Staff for sampling and testing activities;
  • Developing materials traceability program.
To Be Considered Candidates

Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located and be able to interview on site.

Basic Job Requirements
  • Ten (10) years of work-related experience;
  • Familiar with Material/equipment logistics, material receiving, storage, preservation and delivery;
  • Familiar with use of databases for material accountability, traceability, records keeping;
  • Design-Build or P3 Experience on Infrastructure Projects.
Other Job Requirements
  • Moderate oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well with others
