About The Role

Product Owner, Intact Lab

As a Product Owner (PO) on the Acquisition team, you are responsible for ensuring delivery of strategic value for Intact’s online quote and sales. In order to maximize the business value generated by the digital work environment, the PO will integrate and manage the needs and expectations of the various stakeholders in operational, technical and other business areas. You will be part of a small squad with the goal of creating and enhancing our Acquisition digital products to the point where our product is the best product out there, period.

Reporting to the IT Manager, your main responsibilities are :
  • End to end ownership of deliverables within the Scrum Team
  • Build, edit and maintain the team’s backlog, priorities and roadmap
  • Collect and integrate the needs, requirements and expectations of the stakeholders, clients and collaborators into the team’s backlog
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define the product vision and strategy ensuring their interests are included in the release.
  • Inspire the Scrum Team to deliver best-in-class products
  • Responsible and accountable for leading, planning and tracking all business aspects of the project, including ensuring the right product is being built in the right order and release is developed by the identified deadlines
  • Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes or resource additions
  • Ensures business objectives and targets are met through data analytics, and feedback
  • Participate in all Scrum Ceremonies
  • Follow our competitors and the industry and keep abreast of Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
Qualifications

What you bring to the table :
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 3 to 8 years of experience in Product Management (Business, Functional, Information)
Specific experiences - Assets strongly considered
  • Project experience in Agile/Scrum
  • Experience and knowledge in the insurance field
  • Mastery of JIRA & Confluence
  • Knowledge of InVision, Abstract or Miro
  • Knowledge of Adobe Omniture
