Position Information

This position covers acute care inpatient units, including 5E Hematology and Cardiac Care Unit (CCU).

Rotation/Shifts

Days and evenings, including weekends, 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements

• Master’s degree in Physiotherapy OR equivalent program recognized by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO);
• Successful completion of registration and examination process for physiotherapy as set by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO);
• Working knowledge of regulatory standards set by licensing board (CPO);
• Eligible for Certification in CPR and/or First Aid;
• Excellent interpersonal skills;
• Superior written and verbal communication skills;
• Sound judgement and problem-solving abilities;
• Eligible to work in Canada;
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent experience in acute care, including oncology, cardiac care and medicine;
• Physiotherapist Residents will be considered
• Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advance level).
