Tasks

Your main tasks include, among others:
Implementation of new LCAG handling processes at GHA level.
Inspection of services provided to LCAG by the GHA as per contract (Annex B and SLA in terms of CHM).
Conduction of meetings with the GHA on regular basis to discuss service performance.
Monitors the performance of (own) subcontractors to ensure required performance levels and requests required corrective action.
Establishing, maintaining and evaluating statistical data provided by the SPC tool (Station Performance Cockpit).
Prepares LCAG schedules and short term planning of operational resources.
Check of all ULD’s for airworthiness to ensure safe flight operation.
Secures load on aircraft (i.e locks) and signs the loading instruction.

• Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by superior.

Requirements

The ideal Operational GHA Steerer must fulfill the following requirements:

High school diploma/ GED required.
5 or more years of experience in logistics, airfreight handling and/or operations required.
English and/or local language required.
Qualification according to CHM / GOM.
Computer literate, MS office as user.
Excellent communication skills.

Must possess a legal work permit in Canada.
