The Opportunity:

We’re looking for an Onboarding Officer to join our Service Centre team.

Reporting to the Manager, Transitions & Advisor Onboarding the Onboarding Officer is responsible for being a subject matter expert in both IIROC AND MFDA applications. The individual will support all aspects of the onboarding process for converting Advisors.

What your day looks like:

• Partner with Advisors and communicate effectively and ask questions to ensure a smooth onboarding
• Provide guidance, support and education on procedures, forms and practices within the Univeris/ Dataphile system to ensure the Advisor is successful in the onboarding process
• Be the Subject Matter Expert and answer questions that come into the Onboard Team
• Partner internally with other areas of operations and service to ensure that onboarding is done in a timely manner and that concerns are resolved quickly
• Update Onboarding Dashboard on weekly basis to monitor Advisor progress
• Provide additional support for Credit Union Mergers, offboarding and other specialized partner support as needed
  
  

Requirements

Your experience and skills:

• University Degree or College Diploma preferred
• Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is preferred
• 2-3 years of financial industry experience in an Operations or Service Center role
• Experience using Dataphile is an asset
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail
• Previous experience with process improvement and documentation
• Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset
