Reporting to the Maintenance General Foreman, the Mine Shaft Supervisor is accountable for the supervision of the shaft crew to inspect and maintain a service shaft and production shaft at an operating mine. The Mine Shaft Supervisor is expected to achieve crew targets with the understanding and implementation of the maintenance plan and schedule, in compliance with shaft regulations.

This position requires an individual who has experience in shaft maintenance with good planning, organizing, leadership and communication skills. Applicants must also have Underground Supervisory Common Core.
