Medical Education Manager

Position Summary:
The Medical Education Manager will work with clients and subject-matter experts from the life sciences industry to organize their content library and create micro-learning modules in the ACTO Omnichannel platform. The Medical Education Manager will be a part of ACTO’s Services Team.

In this role you will:
  • Develop scientific content in the form of microlearning modules, summaries, assessments, coaching scenarios, and other medical-related content for small, mid and enterprise-level life sciences companies.
  • Collaborate in the design and development of content for live, online, and other training programs and initiatives.
  • Assist in the documentation of quality control reviews for each product.
  • Communicate with the client on all matters relating to content organization and development.
  • Update Implementation Specialist or Project Lead on project progress, pending action items or any situation that could result in delays.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on all FDA and Health Canada regulations and requirements, to ensure projects remain compliant.
  • Identify areas for improvement in established SOPs and share feedback with the content development team (during and after project completion).
  • Contribute to testing of other tools/products on an as-needed basis.
Job Specific Qualifications & Experience:
  • Must have a minimum of a B.Sc. in Pharmacology, Biology or other Life Sciences / Health Sciences subject area.
  • Previous experience in medical writing or reviewing scientific content is highly desirable.
  • Previous e-learning and functional testing experience is also beneficial
  • Strong grammar/editorial skills.
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Reader).
