Job Description


The Purchasing Department handles the needs of all Ubisoft entities in the IT, Real Estate, Overhead and Production & Marketing External Services (PMES) categories.

The Marketing Buyer is responsible for defining and improving the purchasing methods and processes for the marketing category related with all studios and distribution entities mainly in North, Central and South America (NCSA).

As a member of the PMES team, you will be responsible for increasing the coverage of content, events and media buying. Also, you will be following-up the contracts with the brand teams. You will be responsible for giving best practices and bridging the gap between the market and the marketing teams’ operational realities.

Responsibilities :

  • Actively participate in the development of marketing purchases with internal teams and distribution subsidiaries;
  • Be in charge of purchases related to marketing (trailers, communication, events, media) for internal clients mainly based in North America;
  • Handle purchasing requests in accordance with the market, from understanding of the need to contracting;
  • Advise internal clients on their acquisition policies within their projects;
  • Analyze purchasing families in order to optimize the Quality - Cost - Risk;
  • Actively collaborate with other buyers to participate in the development and implementation of a common strategy;
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure contract compliance;
  • Develop activity reports and work on key performance indicators;
  • Also cover creative services purchases related to the production of our games.

Qualifications
  • Experience in the field of purchasing marketing & communication, or media, contents;
  • Experience in negotiating with internal clients and suppliers;
  • Ability to work autonomously, define priorities and be proactive to improve processes;
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to adapt;
  • Good knowledge of purchasing contract law is also required;
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Excel.
