The Information Security Operations Services Manager manages a team of security experts responsible for security monitoring, incident response, digital forensics, network security, perimeter security management and vulnerability testing and remediation to proactively mitigate security threats. This person will develop, implement, and manage standard operating procedures (the technologies, processes, training and documentation), inclusive of - monitoring and incident handling program, network security platforms, digital forensics and e-discovery program vulnerability management, penetration and application testing activities threat intelligence and threat hunting programs. They will also proactively plan for operations and assurance needs, including next generation security tools and automated detection, prevention and response. Finally, they will lead the implementation, configuration, and operation of information security technologies that are implemented across McCain Foods.

Key Accountabilities:

• Responsible for deployment delivery on projects/systems of low to high complexity.
• Communicate to stakeholders the performance of the service provider.
• Works on moderately complex tasks, projects, activities or support issues that require increased skill in multiple technical, social, and service environments and has expertise in at least three service tower(s).
• Actively engages the external service providers that deliver the outsourced services to ensure maximum adherence to agreed service metrics, while aiming for improvement of service and staff performance, end-user satisfaction and collaboration among service providers.
• Work with internal colleagues to ensure they have the appropriate information and knowledge at hand to be successful in what they do.

Qualifications:

• Must have a current CISSP or related advanced IT security certification.
• Minimum of five to ten years of IT work experience related to the service operations function in an environment similar in size and complexity.
• Demonstrated experience in leading complex information Security design and deployment gained through 5-8 years of progressively more responsible work.
• University degree (computer sciences and/or engineering) highly desirable.
• Knowledge of board range of security management tools inclusive of SIEM (QRadar), network and vulnerability testing tools.
• Broad knowledge across all areas of the Technology Architecture domain including Cloud Computing (IaaS, PaaS, AWS, Azure etc.) Data Center, Data Storage Technologies, Virtualization, server platforms (Unix/Linux, Windows, AS400), Desktop, mobility solutions, monitoring/management, data protection, high availability/clustering, network (WAN/LAN/WLAN etc.), Security (Firewall, IDS/IPS, VPN etc.), etc.
• Experience presenting and explaining complex design and information security concepts to non-technical users.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate security- and IT risk-related concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Able to successfully prioritize and manage to completion multiple complex tasks and deliverables.
