IT Recruiter

Aversan Inc. (www.aversan.com) is a reputable Engineering Company that provides expertise in the Aerospace and Defense industry. We are currently seeking a qualified IT Recruiter

Specialistto work with our external operations in a very fast paced environment. The successful candidate for this position will be a part of highly motivated and highly technical work environment that feeds off the collective energy of a team-oriented workplace.

Location: Mississauga, ON

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Source and hire candidates that meet the qualifications for various positions within the organization;
• Screen applicants and sourced profiles over the phone;
• Build and maintain a pipeline of candidates for various technical positions;
• Research various companies, websites, organizations, community groups that may have prospective candidates for name generation;
• Create and upload job postings on multiple job boards and company website;
• Maintain the Applicant Tracking System.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Degree/Diploma from a recognized institution;
• Proven experience with sourcing methods including Boolean search, user groups, networking and sourcing via web channels;

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
• Attention to detail and strong time management skills;
• Capable of making fact-based, logical recommendations and decisions;
• Proficiency in MS Office and various Applicant Tracking System;
• Ability to work independently and within a team;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
