IR Technician

Acuren is currently recruiting for an IR Technician to support our client in Ft. Saskatchewan. If you are seeking a dynamic industrial environment with opportunities for individual growth and learning, this is for you.

Position Information

• Fulltime permanent
• 40hrs/week supporting a client site
• Conduct Infrared inspections on static equipment including heaters, furnaces etc.
• Create reports for clients as required
• Support related areas of business as required

Technician Position Requirements

• Level II Infrared Thermography certification
• Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience within the Oil and Gas sector
• Experience with fired heater assets is a benefit
• Internal furnace IR scanning experience is preferred
• Vibration certification Category 2 or better is considered an asset
• Site based position so must be comfortable with working at heights
• Proven ability to interact well on an industrial site

Additional Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Excellent work ethic
• Excellent time and project management, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be computer proficient including experience with Microsoft Office products
