Edelman Canada is currently looking for anIntern, Influencer Marketingbased in Montreal (must be fluent in both English and French), to join our growing team. This role will be focused on supporting the execution of creative influencer programs across an array of exciting brands and businesses that span beauty, fashion, technology and food.

Our team is focused on building best-in-class influencer capabilities and we need someone who is passionate about the world of influencer marketing, constantly curious and willing to learn in this quickly evolving space.

In this role you’ll be working influencer identification, talent management and supporting with the execution of influencer campaigns across various sectors at Edelman, including Beauty and Personal Care, Food, Health, Technology and more. This opportunity requires a passion for influencer content creation, brand storytelling, and industry trends as well as a strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team.

Reporting to the Director, Influencer Marketing, you will be part of an advisory & execution team dedicated to the planning and ongoing management of influencer programs covering a broad portfolio of industries. You will directly support the internal influencer team at Edelman to help build and implement influencer programs that deliver on client objectives and influencer briefs.

This is a great opportunity for a candidate who has just graduated university/post-graduate level, or for an intermediate level person who has explored previous entry level work within the pace and is ready to make their mark and bring fresh thinking to a highly demanding specialty.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to senior influencer specialists on the team to deliver on influencer asks
  • Serve as day-to-day resource for the influencer marketing discipline supporting client accounts with identification of influencers, outreach and contract negotiations, content calendar development, influencer seeding, campaign monitoring and reporting
  • Has basic understanding of the influencer landscape and stays up to date with the latest influencer marketing trends
  • Manage multiple influencer projects from identification to execution by anticipating challenges and ensuring deadline and budget adherence
  • Support influencer projects by working with appropriate specialties including Insight and Analytics, Paid Performance, Creative to ensure seamless integration throughout programs
  • Develop content overview documents for influencers outlining program details and content expectations with oversight from senior team
  • Develop one-sheet summaries for influencers to be included as part of a recommendation to client
  • Be a master of process and care about the minutia of how work is done to ensure efficiencies and practicalities
  • Demonstrate tactical proficiency in developing influencer recommendations, content direction, content scheduling, ongoing tracking and reporting on results
  • Consistently produce high quality internal and external communications content and contribute to creation of larger influencer communication plans
  • Ensures work and relationships are founded on open and honest communication; listens and asks the right questions during day-to-day work; upholds creative, ethical and legal standards
  • Ensures that client counsel and agency action is always purposeful and challenging; prioritizes the interests of the wider agency; holds subordinates, peers and superiors accountable for demonstrating integrity and ethical behavior
  • Demonstrates a strategic and thoughtful approach in challenging others to ask the right questions
Qualifications
  • Post graduate degree in related field, such as Digital Communications or Marketing Communications
  • Strong interest in influencer marketing
  • Must be fluent in English and French
  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university
  • Ability to manage multiple small or medium-sized projects simultaneously
  • Ability to digest a lot of information and share it with multiple parties to tee up constructive and actionable results
  • Some understanding of the influencer marketing landscape, importance and role of influencer marketing, best practices
  • Able to perform well under pressure and be a team player
  • Strong research, writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to interact with clients professionally and maintain relationships with influencers and content creators
