Intern Architect / ArchTechnologist

About the company:

Mid-sized (50-60 people) office located in Kitchener, Ontario with a diverse portfolio that ranges from high-rise residential to boutique commercial to healthcare. They have remained busy throughout the pandemic and have a number of projects starting up so the team needs to grow. Value well-rounded architects and encourage everyone to work through all phases of design. Huge focus on sustainability (passive house, LEED). Value self-starters, analytical and empathetic individuals. They are working remotely currently, but will slowly start to return to the office.

Your qualifications:

• 4-10 years of architectural experience in Ontario
• Fluency in Revit in all phases of design (firm has been working in Revit since 2010, strong working knowledge is required)
• Experience producing contract documents for large buildings (high-rise residential, office, large commercial work)
• Experience coordinating with outside consultants and comfortable communicating directly with clients
• CA experience, comfortable to conduct site reviews and managing communications between the office and site
• Double vaccinated against COVID19
