Intermediate Videographer

What we are looking for.

We are looking for an experienced Videographer to join our exciting growing Creative team! The successful candidate will be creating, shooting, and editing video content for web and social media across all channels and departments.

What you would be doing.

• Collaborate with and support Senior Videographer & Editor on new projects, ideation, production sites and various tasks
• Present storyboards to Heads of Art & Design and Creative Director and assist Heads of Art and Design on presentations
• Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity
• Edit captured video to tell concise, visually pleasing stories
• Input music, dialogues, graphics, effects, Inserting closed captioning, graphics, or other on-screen text into a video
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
• Ensure all creative work is of highest quality and reflects brand standards
• Collaborate with senior’s on budgeting and manage cost allocation for projects, to understand and lead cost-saving action plans for the creative team
• Manage ongoing alignment with other departments on project objectives and requirements
• Coming up with creative ideas on how to best meet department needs in video form
• Review content created by Junior Videographer & Editors and provide support for day to day duties, tasks and ongoing projects and provide onboarding support for new hires
• Be a supportive member to the creative team and contribute to ongoing team support
• Perform other duties as assigned
  

What skills and qualifications do you need?

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro; After Effects knowledge is a bonus
• Proficiency with all video equipment, including but not limited to DSLRs, lighting, and microphones and audio equipment
• Strong understanding of audio, color, cinematography, video framing approach and theory
• Proficiency with all video equipment, including but not limited to DSLRs, lighting, and microphones and audio equipment
• Passion for creativity & visual design and ability to conceptualize out-of-the box ideas
• Capable in problem solving, project management and teamwork
• Solid organization and time management skills, detail oriented
• Strong ability to focus and work efficiently in a demanding, fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal, communication skills both written and oral and ability to work with all levels of staff and management
• 3 -5 years of experience in a creative environment as a videographer, production and video editing is preferred
