We are looking to add a new member to our Corporate Services Human Resources team. This role will be based out of Ancaster, Canada and will be a 1 year (12 month) contract (running from the beginning of September 2021 until the end of August 2022) with possibility for extension depending on the candidate. Travel may be required to other locations in Ontario.

Requirements

Your role…
  • Responsible for the import of historical data into Dayforce HCM.
  • Coordinates co-op funding with several external organizations.
  • Supports with the coordination of Stackpole’s scholarship program.
  • Supports with the creation of internal communication materials, such as newsletters, TV displays, and other communications as needed.
  • Supports the coordination of local and global employee engagement initiatives.
  • Records and tracks training activities for assigned employee groups.
  • Runs reporting monthly, quarterly, and bi-annually for several Learning & Development programs.
  • Manages Stackpole’s email inbox for resume submissions and job posting inquiries.
  • Ensures job postings are up to date on all job boards and on Stackpole’s website.
  • Supports with onboarding, offboarding, and position change activities as required.
  • Creates internal and external job postings for assigned employee groups.
  • Processes new hires, terminations, and job requisitions using Stackpole’s HRIS (Workday).
  • Creates invoice breakdown for sponsored job board advertisements.
  • Uploads and updates organizational charts on Stackpole’s intranet.
  • Manages the COVID-19 Temperature Check List for and Daily Attendance Tracker for Corporate Services.
  • Drafts Confirmation of Employment Letters, as requested by employees.
Your profile…
  • Current Student or Recent Graduate of a college or university Human Resources or Business program.
  • Ability to work in a highly organized manner where attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality are critical.
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Self-starter with a “can-do” attitude.
  • Adaptable and flexible individual.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organization.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
