• Work in a high paced packaging / production environment
• Transport and distribute materials and goods while operating a forklift
• Operate and maintain constant computerized inventory levels
• Make labels and attach to goods
• Prepare bulk totes
• Record keeping
• Maintain safe procedures
• Other general production duties as required
• Job Requirements:
• Ability to lift or move equipment/materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for 8 - 12 hours per day
• Ability to operate a forklift safely in high paced environment (an asset)
• Ability to work effectively as a part of a team
• Good written and oral communication
• Able to uphold safe working procedures
• Able to work in freezer conditions
• Has experience working in a food manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Understanding of standards set by BRC and Plant management staff
• Ability to do shift work (A MUST!)
  

Work Conditions

Wage rate: $15.70/hr

Sunday Premium:$1/hr

Freezer Premium:$0.85/hr

Night Premium:$0.65/hr

Schedule: days, afternoons, nights and weekends
