Overview / Description :
Ogilvy Toronto is searching for a Financial Reporting Analyst reporting to Accounting and Reporting Manager. The right candidate will have strong financial acumen, understanding of accounting and corporate reporting and the ability to bridge financial requirements in a service-based environment.
Responsibilities / Responsabilités:
  • Month-end reporting, budget reporting and reforecast reporting for our Toronto and Montreal offices
  • Month-end Reporting: Post journal entries, review/enter the financials in the reporting system, prepare supplementary reporting information.
  • Prepare additional reports for management
  • Coordinate data collection for forecast and budget reporting processes.
  • Consolidated level corporate reporting/analysis
  • Ensure Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance with regards to policies, procedures and processes; and IFRS compliance when comes to book closing and reporting processes
  • Work closely with the Accounting and Reporting Manager on all audits
  • Work with the Accounting and Reporting Manager to determine process improvements and develop action plans
  • Respond to queries from the Regional Head office in New York
  • Any other duties that may require
Qualifications :
Skills + Experience:
  • 3 + years of finance experience
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent
  • Solid finance experience with the ability to relate to procedures and processes
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Work experience in the advertising/PR/Media industry and in SAP would be an asset
