IPAC Consulting is a leading Infection Control consulting company, working in film and television, health care construction and renovation, dentistry, long-term care, and other healthcare related sectors. We expect the successful candidate to be flexible, motivated to drive the company forward, and willing to perform activities not included in this job description as the need arises. This job description is not all-inclusive or limited to the tasks listed below.

· Lead the accounting department to maintain, and improve an accurate monthly statements and accounting processes including oversight for the full cycle accounting functions

· Prepare and submit year-end financial statements to external accounting firm

· Ensure that the accounting team applies adequate internal controls to safeguard assets, ongoing and up to date financial administrative policies and guidelines and optimization of cash flow management

· Assist the leadership team with the development of financial analysis and strategies for the annual business plan and strategic plan.

· Assist with the development and implementation of measurable and relevant financial objectives connected to the goals of the business plan, and the development of formal procedures to track and communicate the financial results of the business plan on a timely basis

• Lead monthly performance reporting including presenting results to leadership team including identifying areas of achievement risk to targets and annual forecasts; develop and follow up on action plans
• Ensure quality and timely financial information is provided to the various business partners for decision-making and that potential risks and opportunities are understood and communicated including; potential retail promotional strategies, healthcare contract negotiations; among others
• Partner with the sale department to engage with key customers through proposal development, project budgets and new business initiatives.
• Applies effective people leadership skills leading a team through performance and career management.
• Sets clear team goals and evaluates progress against those goals to develop effective and collaborative teamwork

You will need to be passionate, tenacious, have strong strategic acumen and really enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment.

You will also ideally have;

· Completion of a related university degree as well as a CPA designation.

· Success leading, coaching and developing people in a high performing team environment (e.g. performance management etc.).

· Mastery in the following professional/technical competencies: using data to drive insight, leading, and overseeing business operation processes, financial modelling, and risk management

· Ability to operate in a highly focused, entrepreneurial environment and expected to challenge and influence business decisions.
