Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Aerial Drop Technician to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role will be to install drops from aerial terminals, requiring the ability to work at heights of up to 40 feet and climb ladders safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications installation and maintenance, as well as a commitment to safety and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Install drops from aerial terminals to customer premises, following established procedures and safety protocols
• Use company-provided equipment, including ladders and safety harnesses, to access aerial terminals and perform installations
• Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements and identify potential challenges
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to drop installations, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction
• Complete installation reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to coordinate installations and meet project deadlines

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both on-site and in company vehicles

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in telecommunications installation and maintenance, with a focus on aerial drop installations
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work at heights of up to 40 feet and climb ladders safely
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of telecommunications systems and equipment
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations and best practices
