Want to work for a dynamic company with many opportunities for advancement? Evoqua Water Technologies is seeking an Engineering Technologist in Fredericton!

This position is dedicated to field services, project planning and execution for Geomembrane Technologies (GTI), and reports to GTI Operations.

Responsibilities will be to plan geomembrane cover and liner works projects, mechanical installations, maintenance services and repairs, upgrades/improvements, and other similar tasks the operations team carries out. You will maintain accurate and detailed records, plan and organize multiple trips with multiple stops, and will lead a fabrication and installation crew.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required; Technology Degree or Engineering Degree is preferred
• Construction background or engineering background is ideal
• 1-2 years of technical experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Highly organized and self-motivated
• Strong problem solving, quality assurance and interpersonal skills
• Operating various types of basic hand tools and plastic fusion welding equipment
• Ability to work independently, as well as with a team
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Industry related safety courses and tickets would be an asset
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract required
• Perform other duties at the direction of your supervisor or manager
• Some travel may be required
