We are seeking a dynamic individual to lead and develop our Energy Automation and Power Management business in Western Canada. He/She is responsible for selling Energy Automation and Power Managementsolutions to our end-user customers and to promote, expose and specify those solutions to Engineering Firms.
Reporting to the National Digital Power Sales Director, you will coordinate sales activities in the region and with your accounts, creating added value for the customer, with a clear focus on increasing market share, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
You will develop, implements and updates accounts strategies for the complete Digital Power portfolio from the customer’s perspective. Then you must possess the ability to build solutions by understanding the customer context, including all stakeholders, process and needs, as well as technical complexity induced by the integration of numerous interconnected components and sub-systems.

  • Promote Energy Automation and Power Management Digital Applications Value Propositions for the end-customer segment application to influence customers/consultants by prescribing differentiating architectures very early in the customer project lifecycle (e.g. via L&L, customer events, specific initiatives or presentations).
  • Understand customer applications and needs for managing their power distribution system.
  • Perform gap analysis between customer needs and reference architectures when applicable and adapt the proposed architecture and project scope to satisfy key decision criteria for the customer (functions, performance & budget. Build the business case)
  • Account Management
  • Grow orders to saturate selected accounts
  • Establish customer intimacy through connections at all required levels of customer organisation
  • Securing and leading customer meetings at different levels of the account while leveraging the Digital Energy technical and management team.
  • Develop and execute account plans, develop long-term strategies around digitization and sustainability by defining a technology roadmap to digitize customers power distribution system.
  • Monitoring competitor activity and ensuring appropriate action is taken
  • Ensuring that all opportunities and their different sales stages are all captured and maintained to date in Sales Force


This job might be for you if you have:

  • 5 years of experience in a sales related role, working as an account manager with experience in energy automation, or Power Utilities, or Mining Minerals, or Metals, or Healthcare, or Transportation, or Datacentre orTelco markets
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong communication and customer relationship-building skills
  • System architecture methodology, starting from customer needs identification
  • Ability to influence and convince
  • A university degree in Engineering or Business will be preferred
  • Proficient in English spoken and written is a must. French is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience of Sales Force and MS Office tools
  • Able to work in Canada and holding a valid Canadian driver’s license
