As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales and Business Development to join our team and lead us into an exciting phase of growth.

Position Overview:We are looking for an accomplished sales expert to assume the role of Director of Sales and Business Development. In this pivotal position, you will play a key role in leading and expanding our B2B team, increasing our portfolio of dealerships across Canada, and achieving ambitious revenue targets. Your responsibilities will include supporting our current account managers, enabling them to meet their objectives, setting new goals, providing training, and scaling our team of account managers and business development professionals. As we position ourselves for significant growth in 2024, our focus will be on acquisitions to ensure the attainment of our revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing sales and business development team, providing guidance, motivation, and support.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive business growth and meet revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on dealer acquisitions to expand our client portfolio.
  • Collaborate closely with our existing managers to ensure their success in meeting their goals and objectives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients in the auto loan industry.
  • Provide ongoing training and development for the sales and business development team.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and potential threats.
  • Work closely with the executive team to develop and refine the company’s growth strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales and business development, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of the financial services industry, preferably with experience in auto loans or dealership related capacity.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • A passion for innovation and a commitment to driving change in the industry.
