Status: Regular Full Time
Location: 22 Adelaide Street West, Toronto (currently working remotely but will need to commute to the office when it reopens)

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Digital Marketing Senior Manager, the Digital Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for optimizing digital marketing practices and content distribution for Harlequin Trade Publishing. In this exciting role, the Coordinator will also be responsible for elevating Harlequin Trade Publishing’s digital footprint by working on solutions for websites, contributing to our advertising and influencer campaigns, and helping to improve workflows in the digital marketing process overall.
Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain web content and processes, using a content management system
  • Follow web design, development and usability best practices to keep HTP sites up to date, consistent and accurate.
  • Assist with all digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, blogs, newsletters, LiveIntent and BookBub.
  • Communicate and enhance existing relationships in our influencer database, ensuring we build strong connections and create champions for the Harlequin Trade Publishing brand and authors.
  • Coordinate and execute campaigns on appropriate platforms/channels, tracking performance and optimizing approach to drive improved results.
  • Proactively create and/or coordinate videos, photography, templates, presentations, and other assets, as needed.
  • Measure performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals and KPIs. Develop regular reports to track performance and leverage insights to optimize digital marketing initiatives.
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on these insights.
  • Manage administrative tasks, including onboarding freelancers/agencies and processing invoices.
Qualifications:
Specific training or job experience required includes:
  • 3+ years of related experience and a strong background in digital marketing
  • Post-secondary education in a related field (Advertising, Marketing) and/or relevant experience.
  • Project management/coordinator experience required
  • Microsoft Office proficiency and experience with project management tools
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop, Trello, Canva & Sprout Social an asset
