As a Data Scientist at Atlantic Controls you will conduct detailed analysis on data sets to develop solutions for the improvement of industrial processes. You will be the key person to increase the reliability of assets and optimize the performance of industrial processes.
Your responsibilities of implementing Data Science, optimizing, and operationalizing innovative proof of concepts for our clients will play a key role in distinguishing Atlantic Controls from its competitors.
In collaboration with our clients and our digital transformation, industrial reliability solutions and process systems solutions teams you will implement the best model and tools for optimizing industrial processes and ensuring sustainable growth.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE*

  • Apply statistical and machine learning knowledge to specific business problems and data
  • Apply strong quantitative skills, experience with the use of scientific analysis methods, qualitative methods, quantitative analysis techniques.
  • Exploit and model various data
  • Develop predictive, classification and recommendation models, optimize and test them.
  • Process structured and unstructured data
  • Develop and operationalize marketable tools with a good level of presentation (user interface, reporting)
  • Propose and develop effective business intelligence solutions
  • Interpret and communicate analytical results to stakeholders
  • Solve complex analytical problems using quantitative approaches
  • Collaborate with teams to implement data best practices

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL*

  • Relevant experience required, industrial process experience would be considered an asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills: must communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams
  • Knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning with a strong ability to challenge models and algorithms and an openness to using known, peer-validated gas pedals or creating new ones.
  • A strategic thinker: A cross-functional strategic thinker who can rally managers around analytical and statistical approaches
  • Code scaling of an existing model
  • Deploying the scaled model in production
  • Ability to work independently on tasks and deliver high quality work
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment and be open to input and feedback
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to increase productivity
  • Use analytical thinking and innovate through problem solving
  • Inspire others through effective communication and adapt to the audience in speaking and writing
