• Acting as a data management and exploitation expert by working in tandem with analytical partners, analysts and data scientists in the realization of various mandates covering several aspects of the Bank;
• Apply rigorous analytical methods on a variety of data to understand trends and detect data quality issues;
• Leverage data to help improve the analytical experience;
• Having the opportunity to work on emerging data analytics trends in the industry;
• Contribute to the evolution of structured and unstructured data acquisition solutions;
• Discover, structure, clean, enrich, validate, prepare and publish datasets in a format suitable for analytics, modeling and BI for business line needs;
• Collaborate with data scientists and visualization experts to provide them with adequate data;
• Designing, executing and putting into production machine learning and analytics solutions;
• Understand and identify the risks and issues related to the selected technologies;
• Communicate and popularize complex technical concepts to users of analytical platforms;
• Coach your peers to take ownership of the bank’s data environments;
• Working in an agile/iterative environment.

• 
  Completed BA and 7 years of relevant experience OR Completed MA and 5 years of relevant experience
• Very good experience in data modeling, manipulation or visualization
• Experience in database management and data operations
• Excellent knowledge of code management and optimization (Python or SQL languages)
• Knowledge of at least one ETL tool or solution (SSIS, datastage, Pentaho)
• Experience in database and big data technologies
• Experience in data flow design and development
• Knowledge of Azure, Databricks, AWS Snowflake, Spark an asset
• Good time and priority management and source/project coordination
• Good communication and influence skills
• Experience with data visualization tools. (PowerBI, Tableau)
• An asset if you know at least one Cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• An asset if you have banking experience
• An asset if you have knowledge of the agile approach (scrum, kanban)
• Rigorous, pedagogical and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual (spoken/written) French and English
