Veoneer Canada, Inc. is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Cyber Security Engineer. The successful candidate for this position will provide computer and network support for the facility.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate the Implementation of OEM Product Cyber Security standards.
• Communicate specifications to equipment suppliers, and support equipment in production.
• Identify and communicate possible security threats.
• Provide guidance for system hardening and outline security best practices.
• Collaborate with other teams to make necessary changes to the infrastructure.
• Identify, recommend and implement corrective actions in response to security violations.
• Assist in security assessments to determine vulnerabilities in systems and applications.
  

What You’ll Bring

• Computer / Electrical Engineering Degree.
• 3-5 years experience required.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Superior organization and planning skills.
• Understanding of security threats and attacks.
• Detailed knowledge of Internet Protocol, LAN, WAN, WLAN, VLAN, Operating Systems.
• Working knowledge in computer programming and cloud environments.
• Ability to effectively coordinate team activities.
• Manufacturing experience an asset.
• Being familiar with ISO21434 is a strong asset.
