Job Description

• Involves facilitating the flow of manufacturing inspection lots and Quality notifications/Non-conformances through coordination and driving process improvements to ensure part flow necessary for engine delivery and other business requirements.
• He will be responsible to maintain a disciplined approach for inspection lot and QN coordination. He will be the SPOC for all communication related to QM and QN flow
• Responsible to meet ECD (Expected completion date) for shortage QN (P0) and therefore limit “past” due dates and ensure timely action from non-engineering groups
• Represent non-engineering in shortage meetings and maintain a balanced plan to meet the week’s target, considering both resources and engine build requirements
• Monitor IMF tools to work with the respective non-engineering organizations and IMF to ensure the priorities are set right and work with daily targets for QM and QN deliveries
• Monitor and help with resource allocation for processing QMs and QNs
• Understanding bottlenecks and opportunities in existing processes and providing insights to the IMF community for developing better preparedness to tackle urgent QMs/QNs
• Work with all the stakeholders involved in the QM (Quality Management) lot process to coordinate and ensure continuous improvement.
• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering with four to six years of experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• French speaking Canadian resident/national
