Job Purpose
SECURE Energy is looking for a new member to join the Fluid Management Division at our Palliser South location. The Receptionist is responsible for front desk reception and general administrative support to the Fluid Management Division with a focus on attention to detail and problem solving. As our Receptionist, you will work on a variety of responsibilities with the opportunity for professional growth. The successful candidate must be positive, self-motivated and directed, and thoroughly capable in general office management responsibilities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Handle large amounts of incoming calls and ensure queries are directed to the proper individuals and departments
  • Ensure common areas and meeting rooms are presentable at all times
  • Manage meeting room schedules and required resources
  • Distribute incoming/outgoing mail and courier packages (Domestic and International)
  • Provide logistical support and coordination to the marketing team for special events/catering (Board Meetings, Annual General Meetings, etc.) both in the Corporate Office and off-site
  • Serve as the primary contact for building services
  • Order building access cards, catering orders for internal meetings, stationary & business cards
  • General support of corporate administration team
  • Work in conjunction with other reception and administrative staff to ensure proper coverage and support
  • Other related duties as required

Qualifications/Competencies
The individual in this role will have:

  • A team player mindset and will always act with integrity with the good of the company at the front of mind
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a Corporate Receptionist or front line administrative position
  • High proficiency in MS office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions and follow up with the right people when necessary
  • Ability to exercise good judgement, show initiative and be proactive
  • High standards of discretion, ethics and confidentiality to handle sensitive corporate and personal information and matters
  • A self-motivated and energetic team player attitude with a willingness to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
