Communications & Digital Media Coordinator

Position Overview

The Communications and Digital Media Coordinator creates engaging and on-brand content while utilizing skills in copywriting, editing, photojournalism and graphic design, to support the planning, development and execution of GNS marketing and communication strategies to ensure they are meaningful, reflect brand values, connect with audiences across print and digital mediums, and solicit the desired stakeholder responses. This individual has a strong aptitude for producing engaging materials through videography, photography and the written word, to support increased visibility of GNS locally and worldwide. Demonstrating a strong technical aptitude and a keen eye for visual presentation, this role will help to identify new opportunities, generate ideas and turn them into results. The coordinator contributes positively to a respectful and productive work environment and facilitates strong professional relationships with colleagues and external partners. What You’ll Bring

You will have an undergraduate degree or diploma in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related field and a minimum of three years of working experience in this area. A combination of education and experience may be considered. Preference will be given to candidates who have a background in video and/or photography production and editing; social media content development and platform management; and experience conceptualizing and producing marketing materials. The successful candidate will have high energy and enthusiasm for immersing themselves in the daily life of the school in order to comfortably capture the GNS brand story.
