Quik Chik, a rapidly growing Canadian fast food chain is looking for confident, friendly, energetic and motivated professional Fast Food Cashier to join our restaurant staff for the Oakville location.

Candidates being considered are for store front sales thus you would be the first point of contact and be responsible for greeting, assisting and managing all patrons who enter the restaurant.

Outstanding customer service is the primary objective thus ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills apart from having a friendly and amiable personality.

Additional responsibilities include processing customer orders accurately, up-selling/ suggestive selling of new products, cleaning public spaces, packaging orders and helping prep as required.

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting customers and entering their orders into the cash register.
• Respond to customer queries and suggestions and issue receipts.
• Issuing receipts and completing all proper cashier procedures including accepting of cash and returning of proper change.
• Precise relaying of all orders to kitchen staff.
• Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of orders to customers.
• Packaging properly food orders in appropriate bags and boxes.
• Practicing proper personal hygiene on a daily basis.
• Following proper cleaning and sanitization practices for food and non-food contact surfaces and equipment.
• Preparing, setting up, arranging and cleaning all eating, service and kitchen stations.
• Counting cash floats at opening and closing to ensure that they are balanced.
• Assist in other duties including helping kitchen staff when required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
