Job Description

What is the opportunity?

RBC Global Cards Supplier Services is hiring a Cards Supplier Analyst. You will be responsible for the analysis, facilitation, documentation, testing and support of Credit Cards Supplier Systems and related interfaces for assigned projects, assignments and initiatives. You will also act as a resource to cross functional stakeholder teams for small to large-scale projects/initiatives and have a clear focus on RBC Vision and Values, while attaining specific business strategies and an enhanced client experience through ongoing efficiency and effectiveness policy/process improvements.

Please Note: This is a hybrid opportunity for applicants within commuting distance to the 88 Queen’s Quay Toronto office location.

What will you do?

  • Investigate and analyze processes and systems, ensuring traceability of requirements to deliverables
  • Partner with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders to create and translate business requirements and user stories into functional/technical/systems use cases for implementation
  • Define scope and deliverables to align with stakeholder expectations and recommend business solutions that satisfy sponsor/stakeholder needs, continually exploring and assessing options for value-add to clients
  • Define acceptance criteria, help Quality Assurance (QA) with test cases/test data, review defects arising from testing and work with stakeholders to resolve them, identify risks/issues and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Effectively communicate and function as a liaison between stakeholders, cross-functional teams, vendors and the project team to strengthen relationships and collaborate to get things done
  • Document requirements, create process maps, data flow diagrams and mock-ups Research project related resources, vendor portals and project documentation to learn new processes and apply learning to current projects
  • Apply an end-to-end methodology approach, analyze large data sets to identify patterns and structures, seek out organization knowledge to understand innovative solutions to improve methods and get work done

What you need to succeed.

Must-have

  • Past experience as a business or systems analyst, with proven analytical capabilities Experience working on projects implementing applications for business users, and working with complex systems and layered problem solving
  • Research expertise and interested in learning new concepts in an extremely dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Advanced proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Visio and Word
  • Experience in database query for research

Nice-to-have

  • End to end project experience working in waterfall, iterative and/or agile teams

  • Experience working with TS2 operating system and options, Subject Matter expertise for overall functionality for TSYS applications (TS2, CCSA, ERNEX)
  • Knowledge of Cards & Payments programs, processes and applications Experience with SQL tools, LSS, IT methodologies, change management, audit requirements, Change Request, Root Cause analysis, Dev Ops
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance or related discipline
