We are seeking an experienced business development expert to join our team. Do you excel in generating leads, managing complex sales cycles, crafting compelling proposals, negotiating contracts, and embodying your values? If so, this role may be for you. The position is crucial in expanding our presence and success in Canada, and globally. The role is offered as a permanent employee position based on-site at our studio on West 3rd Avenue in Vancouver.

About the Role:

This position executes a multitude of varied tasks and requires a self-directed, independent individual with excellent communication, organization, and time management skills who is both personable and professional. The incumbent will require a roll up your sleeves attitude to get into the day-to-day of proposal writing yet also a high-level strategic mindset to support the overall business development strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Innovatively cultivate new business opportunities in the Canadian market by leveraging networks and strategic insights.
  • Oversee the entire sales cycle, orchestrating seamless deal closures that consistently surpass expectations, setting new benchmarks for client satisfaction.
  • Develop unique proposals resonating with Canadian, American and global clients, effectively showcasing our capabilities and value proposition.
  • Demonstrate exceptional negotiation skills to forge win-win agreements
  • Act as our brand ambassador at local engagements, establishing our presence as industry leaders.
  • Anticipate shifts in the market, positioning us at the forefront of industry evolution.
  • Deliver insightful reports that showcase our unwavering commitment to excellence and market leadership.

Skills and Experience:

  • Over 10 years in high-impact business development roles of increasing responsibility in the architecture/design field
  • Bachelors degree in a related field
  • Expertise in fostering long-term client relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills tailored for the Canadian audience.
  • Visionary leadership and relentless pursuit of success.
  • Proficiency in technological tools and CRM software.
  • Availability for on-site work in Vancouver and occasional travel.
