Note: If you are an external applicant, you must have at least 1 year of leadership experience in Digital.

What you’ll be doing day to day

  • You will learn what it takes to be a Retail Leader through a thoroughly crafted individual development plan covering two positions within a two-year period that will enhance your competency and leadership capabilities.
  • The first year of the program will start off as a Group or Team Leader.
  • The second year of the program will include exposure to global projects that focus on the real challenges we face in business today.
  • You’ll receive individual mentorship, on-the-job training, classroom training, and collaborate with others.
  • You will be expected to perform and deliver in your role, while you learn and develop from job-related experiences and interactions with the Bloom community.

About this work area

The Digital team is responsible for: Digital Portfolio and Deployments, Country Product development, Data Management, Cybersecurity and Data Privacy and Digital Service Operations.

To help create a better everyday life for the many people, we are on a mission to design a digital world where everyone can feel at home. Society depends on digital services more than ever. Working in digital means optimizing customer and co-worker journeys by deploying with excellence new global and country digital solutions, overseeing our data and data governance and ensuring data privacy for all. In addition, managing our digital infrastructure, hardware, and service support to provide effective and efficient operations.

Important information you need to know

As this is a global readiness program, the IKEA Canada team will give preference to Canadian candidates, who will be trained in Canadian units throughout this 2-year program. Mobility within Canada is mandatory, as the national exposure will expand your learning horizons and business knowledge. International mobility is welcome. To be considered, a fluent command of the English language is required (spoken and written) as you may be required to work with global teams. All successful candidates must be in good standing in their current roles.
