Automotive Process Supervisor

Location: Brampton (Onsite)

The Manufacturing Engineering Body-in-White (BIW) Process Supervisor will lead the development and implementation of BIW Automatic process equipment, tools and related facilities for new model assembly production.

Job Description

• Drives continuous improvement into the processes and equipment while meeting the cost and timing requirements of the program
• Interface with multiple organizations (Product Engineering, Vehicle Assembly, Quality, etc.) to understand components/subsystems for vehicles
• Generate process sheets, assembly layouts, installation tooling as well as special manufacturing requirements
• Lead Process Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (PFMEA) activities with the platform team for new/critical processes
• Manage a team of 2-3 people and supervise the plant team activity
• Handle vendor management
• Perform root cause analysis, time tracking, efficiency, machine capability
  
  

Requirement

• 10+ years of engineering experience in automotive manufacturing (body and white, factory)
• Project management experience
• Supplier/ vendor management experience
• Proficient in CATIA
• Knowledge of Teamcenter Manufacturing and VIS Mock-up
• Proficiency in French/ Chinese would be an asset
• Willing to work overtime when required
