Asset and Fleet Maintenance Coordinator

Location: Prince George, BC

PWTransit is currently looking for a full-time Asset and Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to join our team of maintenance professionals in Prince George. Reporting to the Director of Maintenance, this role is responsible for the efficiency of maintenance operations throughout the Transit line of business.

Qualifications:

  • Business degree or diploma preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience
  • Experience working with Web Fleet Assistant (WFA) or experience with alternate CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System/WO System)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Calm demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Superb command of written and spoken English
  • Exceptional organizational skills, independent and task-oriented
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize data collection and analysis techniques
  • Proficient in the use of various database and word processing programs
  • Proven ability to prioritize work and prepare reports in a timely manner

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for all WFA functions (WOs, POs, Errors daily support), provide key help/support for all functions in WFA, provide WFA support for Vice President and Director of Maintenance and any reporting or projects that relate to WFA
  • Act as liaison between Maintenance and Accounting Departments to eliminate discrepancies
  • Manage Outstanding Items report - review reported items before weekend report, manage data integrity
  • Provide training for managers, work with managers for corrective action, CMMS document control
  • Manage outstanding work and scheduled work in WFA; DVCRs reviewed monthly and remove what is not needed, review and close work orders
  • Manage Corporate Dashboard for Transit
  • Review all temporary parts and merge or roll to new parts as required, parts clean up - set up permanent parts, set up suppliers
  • Set up new and removal of equipment in WFA and circulate all transfer documents for signatures
  • Set up new and remove old employees in the CMMS system; work with all new hires, managers, admin, parts and possibly mechanics where required
  • Host virtual meetings and document all training performed for reporting
  • WFA support for Vice President and Director of Maintenance and any reporting or projects that relate to fleet maintenance records
  • Key liaison for all changes related to the Transit line of business
  • Review all inventory for integrity, VMRS code updates, min/max set up, warranty management, cores, nomenclature review
  • Cycle-count initialization and coordination, annual cycle-counts (training, corporate reporting, travel to locations for support)
  • Act as first point of contact for enquiries regarding CMMS systems
